Along with our recent redesign, we've also launched a great new feature to the My Themes application. You'll now notice that on the menu in inside the themes app, there is a new section titled "Exchange". Here you can find themes that other users have created and shared with the community. You can download any theme you find in this area and use it on your website or customize it further to make it your own. You can also rate themes so that the best ones rise to the top.
Sharing your themes is easy. When you are managing your list of themes, you can roll over a theme and simply select the "share" button. A window will then pop-up giving you two options to share your theme. You can either share your theme with everyone and it will be posted to the theme exchange, or you can send a theme directly to another user if you know their username. The thinking behind the share direct feature is that this might make it easier for developers to create themes specifically for their clients that they might not want shared on the exchange.
This is still in it's early stages, but the hope with the theme exchange is that this area will grow over time as we learn how users are using it so your feedback will be very important. I believe the theme exchange has a huge potential to benefit all SnapPages users no matter what level your skills as a designer are. It never hurts to see what others are doing and gain inspiration or a starting point for a new design.
