The New Shopify App
by Steve Testone on February 19th, 2015

Today we’re excited to announce a new ecommerce option for our users! You can now easily embed a Shopify store directly into your website in just a few clicks. We have very high standards about who we partner with and recommend to our users. Since Shopify is one of the best full-featured ecommerce platforms on the market right now, working with them was an easy decision. The Shopify platform has everything you need to get an online store up and running. Adding their service to our easy to use website building platform made sense to everyone involved.

"We're always looking for new ways to to make it easier for entrepreneurs around the world to set up and sell their products and services," said Brennan Loh, Shopify’s Head of Business Development. "We're excited to be working with SnapPages to provide a seamless way for their customers to integrate ecommerce into their existing websites and blogs."

To enable this new functionality and get started, all you need to do is setup your own Shopify account, and then install the new Shopify app on SnapPages. If you already have a Shopify store, then you are already halfway there!

Gettings Started:
To install the app on SnapPages, access the “Apps” section in your dashboard and then look for the Shopify app under ‘Marketplace’. From there, click the ‘Shopify’ app to install it and then enter in the name of your Shopify store when prompted - that’s it!
Once you install the app, it will automatically create a new Shopify page for your website that will have your store embedded directly into it. You can launch the Shopify app whenever to customize the appearance of this store even further.
That’s all there is to it! We’re excited to see what our users will create using this new functionality. This is just one of the many new features that will be released in 2015 so stay tuned for more updates!

Hi, and thank you for always looking for new ways to make it easier for entreprenuers.

I have not been able to try out Shopify, yet. Is the plattform also considered for the Norwegians users?
Thanks!

Hi Lena!

You can definitely use Shopify in Norway - we have integrations with payment gateways like 2Checkout, Authorize.net, Paypal... to name a few. If you have questions about setup, don't hesitate to email support@shopfy.com

To signup for Shopify, head to shopify.com/snappages

Would it work for South African users (Rands / ZAR)?

It looks like Shopify is available for just about any country. For more details, here is the relevant documentation from their website about this: http://www.shopify.com/faq/which-countries-and-currencies-are-usable-with-shopify

Would we need the newest Snappages in order to do this? I am not sure if I have the latest edition or not.
