We've been gradually trying to make our sites more compatible with mobile devices that don't support flash. This is mainly because the iPhone and iPad doesn't support it. One of the last elements on the sites that don't show up if you don't have flash installed are the animated billboards. You've probably seen the blank space where it's supposed to be if you've opened your site on an iPhone or iPad.
With an update this week, you will at least see the background image from the billboard slides in this space if the user doesn't have flash. We understand it's not a complete solution but it is much better then the blank space that was there before. We'll be working on improving this more in the future as well.

We've just updated our Setup Wizard. This is the step-by-step area that you go through when you first create a site. So for those of you out there that create multiple sites with SnapPages you will notice this the next time you go to create one.
The goal with this new Setup Wizard is to reduce the amount of time it takes you to get a site up an running. I have some other new stuff I'm working on that I hope to release this week as well so stay tuned for those.

In the past we've had some issues with users accidently deleting the wrong page. Generally we can always recover these pages but it is a manual process that can take some time. Normally this isn't too big of a problem unless you do something like accidently delete your home page.
From now on you should see a button at the bottom of your list of pages in the Web Pages app that says "deleted pages". When you click on this you will see a list of pages you've deleted and you can restore them back to your drafts folder. This feature won't really work for pages you deleted in the past, but any pages you delete from now on will show up in this list.

One thing we get a ton of requests for is more themes. This is especially important for those of you out there that have tons of websites with us and you have used every theme multiple times. Don't worry, I hear you. It's high on our priority list. That's why with this latest theme template called "The Bar" the two main goals were to keep it simple and extremely versatile.
It's called "The Bar" for one very simple and obvious reason, it's basically just a simple navigation bar on a blank canvas. However, this bar currently has 7 different styles that can greatly change the look and feel of the site and the rest is up to you.You can see from the example above just how different you can make each theme that you create from this template. Also if you like any of the ones from the example above, I've posted them all in the Themes app so you can find them in the "Browse" section.
We're excited to see what sort of awesome designs will come out of this one template. If you create one be sure to let us know so we can check it out.
